Well what do you do when you need to keep the dog close by and she won't obey your commands? Try the new thigh method. Guaranteed to be a quick tourniquet (sp?) if needed. This dog training has been very stressful and this was one method Derf decided to try as Miss Limmie likes to jump up on everyone. She chews everything, even with toys to distract her. Our biggest pet peeve? The yowling in the kennel. Send more tips our way or she may need to be adopted out!

Give her about three years. That's how long it takes for a hound to mature. I thought we were going to have to ditch Ani lots and lots of times. But then they look at you with those eyes...
i guess mayor is right, it takes about 3-4 years for our kids to calm down too ;) hehe
